    …provides a good summary of some of the challenges that face schools and communities in trying to make their progress permanent. One of the most notable challenges that gets far too little attention is that poorer school districts, like the one who played host in “Food Revolution,” require USDA provided food assistance that is often processed and is almost entirely made up of the evils that Oliver tried to ban from the kitchen.

    It should be interesting to see if the movement maintains momentum and spreads. It will take changes at every level (including nationally) to truly turn the tide.
